Distinguished Senior Civil Engineer Student Awards


2008 Distinguished Senior Civil Engineering Students

     The following students were awarded the Distinguished Civil Engineer Senior Student awards at the Spring Conference banquet held on April 17, 2008 at the Cajundome Convention Center in Lafayette.

Amanda Hamlin from LSU receives her commemorative plaque for the Distinguished Civil Engineering Senior Student award from Section President Ray DesOrmeaux.	Jonathan M. Guy from Louisiana Tech University receives his commemorative plaque for the Distinguished Civil Engineering Senior Student award from President DesOrmeaux.
Renus Kelfkens from McNeese State University receives his commemorative plaque for the Distinguished Civil Engineering Senior Student award from President DesOrmeaux.	Jacquole Landry from Southern University receives her commemorative plaque for the Distinguished Civil Engineering Senior Student award from President DesOrmeaux.
William Roth from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette receives his commemorative plaque for the Distinguished Civil Engineering Senior Student award from President DesOrmeaux.	Mallory Anne Davis from the University of New Orleans receives her commemorative plaque for the Distinguished Civil Engineering Senior Student award from President DesOrmeaux.
The recipients of the Section’s Distinguished Civil Engineering Student awards presented during the Annual Spring Meeting and Conference in Lafayette are from the left Mallory Anne Davis (UNO), Amanda Hamlin (LSU), Jacquole Landry (Southern), Renus Kelflens (McNeese), Jonathan M. Guy (La. Tech) and William Roth (ULL).

2007 Distinguished Senior Civil Engineering Students

     The Section’s 2007 distinguished senior civil engineering students were honored during the awards banquet of Section Annual Spring Meeting and Conference held in Shreveport on March 22, 2007. They are John David Brown from Louisiana Tech University, Lauren Johnson from LSU, Brandon DeJean from Southern University, Rebecca Sherer from UNO, Atieh Sehati from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and David Minton from McNeese State University.

John David Brown receives his commemorative plaque from Shreveport Branch President Elba Hamilton for the Louisiana University Distinguished Senior Civil Engineering Student Award.	Lauren Johnson receives her commemorative plaque from President Hamilton for the LSU Distinguished Senior Civil Engineering Student Award.
Brandon DeJean receives his commemorative plaque from President Hamilton for the Southern University Distinguished Senior Civil Engineering Senior Award.	Rebecca Sherer receives her commemorative plaque from President Hamilton for the UNO Distinguished Senior Civil Engineering Senior Award
