            Transportation & Development (T&DI) 

         In late 2008, a chapter of the ASCE Transportation and Development Institute was formed under the Louisiana Section to serve all of the members of our state. It is called the ASCE – T&DI Louisiana Chapter and during the first executive meeting held on November 18, 2008, Mr. Om Dixit was elected to serve as Chairman. 

         Nationally, there are currently three T&DI Chapters. Those chapters are located within the Louisiana Section Colorado Section and East Central Branch of the Florida Section. 

         The activities of the chapter will include arranging seminars and workshops to benefit ASCE and T&DI members. 

            The Louisiana Sections T&DI Committee members are:
