Survey Coordinator / Manager

An established Regional Civil Engineering and Surveying firm has an immediate opening for a Survey Coordinator / Department Manager with a background in private and public works projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate surveying procedures and processes including survey employees to ensure projects are surveyed correctly and meet or exceed project requirements.
  • Proficient in proposal writing, estimating, project management, and project coordination.
  • Assist the Civil Engineers in planning, coordinating and controlling field operations, and coordinate with CAD operators in completing office computations and mapping.
  • Solid experience with boundary, topographic, utilities surveying and various construction stakeouts.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Qualifications:

  • Louisiana Professional Land Surveyor License (PLS) preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD software, ARCGIS, and Microsoft Office Products.
  • Proficiency in current surveying techniques using total stations, data collectors, GPS equipment, Auto-levels, Digital Levels, and Robotic Instruments or similar.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Management Skills.
